The goal of designing a vitamin-tracking app is to provide users with a modern, intuitive platform that helps them monitor and optimize their daily vitamin intake. The app aims to bridge the gap between dietary habits and nutritional health, offering personalized tracking, reminders, and insights into vitamin deficiencies or excesses.
The design research process involved multiple phases of user exploration, competitive analysis, and usability testing to ensure the app caters to a broad range of users, from health enthusiasts to those with specific vitamin-related health needs.
Key Features:
Personalized Recommendations: Users wanted the app to go beyond simple tracking and provide customized recommendations for optimal vitamin intake based on dietary habits, lifestyle, and health goals. The app incorporates AI-driven suggestions tailored to individual users' needs.
Automation & Reminders: Users preferred automated features such as scanning food labels for vitamin content, integration with wearable devices for continuous health monitoring, and daily reminders to take supplements or adjust diet for vitamin balance.
Progress Visualizations: Visual representations of daily and weekly vitamin intake, along with deficiency warnings, helped users stay motivated and adjust their habits. Graphs showing long-term trends and progress toward health goals were crucial for user engagement.
Summary
The performance tabs are the main component behind the application. Most of today's vitamin reminder apps are one-dimensional and don't provide any nuance or creative approaches when it comes to health. And with health being such an important facet to life it is interesting to see that this market is still being on creatively unexplored, hopefully, I expended on that with this outcome
